His eye is on the sparrow.... I intended to write Day Four after breakfast, but I didn't have internet access, so I walked to synod instead.

His eye is on the sparrow.... synod opened with a wonderful, rousing praise and worship time.  Much better than being in my room.  The worship was a reminder that the whole experience of synod is about God and the work he wants accomplished, not about me, or us.

His eye is on the sparrow.... I could have left after worship to write a blog, but then a person came by and told me the victim's task force would likely be on the floor this afternoon.  Good to know that - I'm glad I stayed a little longer.  Who was tapping my shoulder?

His eye is on the sparrow.... I should leave synod to get spiffed up for the presentation.  But I sat a little longer and then another person came by who told me the task force report would be on the floor of synod after morning break.  Yikes! Time to get dressed up and no time to be anxious.

His eye is on the sparrow....the presentation of the report went well and the delegates were affirming, supportive, and encouraging.

His eye is on the sparrows.....to all the sparrows everywhere - his eye is on you and his arm is around you.

Have a blessed evening.
