Fun factoid: African American church plants work well in shared church buildings, commercial store buildings and public meeting places. But, they don’t do well in theaters.
Factoid: African American Churches develop at very close to the same rate as other ethnic and white churches. It appears to take about 7 years to reach sustainability in members and budget
Factoid: There are varieties of worship music in African American church plants ranging from Gospel to Hip/Hop, contemporary and traditional church music.
Factoid: Preaching is still very important in African American Churches and is given slightly more time in the service than in white churches.
Factoid: Youth and young adult retention in African American churches is at about the same challenge level as it is in white churches.
Interrogatoid: Wouldn’t it be cool to see 100 new churches serving African Americans into the CRC?

Yes, but it would be even more fun to see 100 churches where all races feel welcome. If the church cannot embody that kind of interracial unity, then who can?
