Executive Pastor and Worship Pastor Positions - South Bend/Mishawaka (IN) Region

Comments (0)

River Valley Church, a vibrant and growing congregation serving the South Bend/Mishawaka (IN) region, looks forward to adding two new members to its ministry staff: an Executive Pastor and a Worship Pastor. The Executive Pastor will assist Lead Pastor Mark Moore in providing leadership for the growth and development of ministry of River Valley Church. The Worship Pastor will provide leadership for the worship ministries and creative arts of a congregation with an average attendance for two Sunday morning services totaling nearly 1000.

River Valley Church is a healthy, twenty-five year-old, multi-generational, non-denominational, elder-led congregation with a clearly defined mission of inviting and equipping people to know and live like Jesus. That mission has given shape to a multi-faceted ministry that includes the Storehouse Food Pantry, the River Valley Preschool, multiple adult Bible studies, dynamic student ministries, and more. Pastor Mark Moore has been serving the congregation as Lead Pastor for just over six months. During his short tenure, worship attendance has doubled.

Mishawaka, the Princess City, lies nestled along the meandering path of the St. Joseph River. The city, founded in 1838, is now home for about 50,000 citizens and was recently recognized as ʺA Best Place to Raise Your Kidsʺ by Business Week Magazine. A total of 29 parks allow Mishawaka residents to golf, play ball, fish and exercise. The city is home to Bethel College and to three high schools: Marian, Mishawaka, and Penn, the latter of which is across the street from River Valley Church. It also a good neighbor to South Bend, a community of 100,000 and the home of the University of Notre Dame.
