Plans are underway for the 18th Women's Inspirational Conference called Grit and Grace, to be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Redeemer University College, in Ancaster, ON. This is an inspirational conference for all women and it's an opportunity for women to invite friends who may be exploring the things of the faith. This year's speaker is Christa Hesselink, author of Life's Great Dare: Risking it all for the Abundant Life, which was released March 2016. Currently Christa is the Director of Next Generation Engagement for BIC Canada and directs the FLOW Internship program and The Spark Initiative.
The Grit and Grace Women's Conference has developed out of a desire to see women embrace God's unconditional love. This conference exists to encourage and inspire women to love God and love others. God's grace is a gift, and we can help each other see His grace in the midst of the grit in life's challenges. This day is for all women, from those who have never been to church to those who have walked with Jesus for a long time. The conference has its roots in Coffee Break ministry, and is sponsored by Christian Reformed Home Missions. For more details about the conference and to register, please check the Grit and Grace conference website.
