The Coffee Break in Platte, SD has been using the new printable version of Discover Your Bible in creative ways to meet special needs and preferences of group members.

The Platte Coffee Break  first used the printable format because the study they wanted was only available in the printable version and not available in the traditional book format.  Because they could, they asked group members what size they would like. Some group members wanted the traditional size study guide (5.5 by 8.5 inches). The study guide size can easily be tucked into a Bible. They printed the full page format (8.5 by 11 inches) for those who wanted more room to write extra questions and answers. The full page format fits into a binder. They discovered others really benefited from having the study in large print. The new printable format of Discover Your Bible studies allows for flexibility and meets people’s unique needs and preferences.

They also have another group that uses the study in extra large print. This group, which meets at a nearby senior living facility,  is called “Tender Loving Care”. The wonderful name describes a group of women who loved Coffee Break but could no longer attend. They asked church leaders if Coffee Break might come to them! The “Tender Loving Care” group meets each week at the same time as Coffee Break. The group also includes men and is led by retired elders or the interim pastor.

Check out the different sizes below. We views of the printable materials in the standard booklet, full page and large print. If you have questions email [email protected].
