First Annual Safe Church Conference

It’s coming… The first annual Safe Church Ministry Conference!

There are many advantages for ALL Safe Church Ministry volunteers to gather for this event. Here are just a few:

  • Powerful synergy – sharing ideas, building relationships, getting inspired, motivated, and equipped
  • Internationally acclaimed presenters – experienced presenters will be sharing on Safe Church topics
  • A common vision and goal for our work – together we can focus on our primary task which is positive and proactive prevention so let’s get busy!

Safe Church Team, Classis, Local Church – Exploring Our Relationship

Bullying, It’s Not Just for Children

Location:
Prince Conference Center at Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI

Dates:
Thursday evening April 26 (optional) – Getting acquainted with Safe Church resources and each other
Friday morning April 27 (optional) – Workshops
Friday afternoon April 27 – Opening plenary at 1:00 p.m.
Saturday April 28 - Closing plenary ends the conference at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday

Now is the time to talk with your church to see if they will “sponsor” you to attend this conference. You will need to cover travel and lodging costs. Meals during the conference, conference materials, speaker fees, etc. will be paid by the Office of Safe Church Ministry. You will also receive free resources (e.g. books) for your church.
