Something New for Safe Church

Is it true that we are never too old to learn? I’m testing that theory on myself as I plan for an upcoming Webinar – The What, Why and How of Safe Church Ministry.

As I plan, it seems impossible to condense Safe Church Ministry into such a small time frame. And it’s challenging to express it in an engaging way that will cast vision, encourage interaction, help people understand, and motivate people to take action.

There are technical challenges as well. Can we alter this PDF graphic to make it look good in a Power Point? Can we get a classis map with colors and symbols to show people visually where Safe Church Ministry is active and where it is non-existent? And then there is the more mundane; how do I add movement, and get each bullet point to appear one at a time.

This event will be a great learning opportunity for me, and it can be for you as well. You’re invited! Tune in February 29 at noon EST to this free webinar, The What, Why and How of Safe Church Ministry. Maybe you’ve never experienced a webinar before; that’s OK. You can learn about Safe Church Ministry and about webinars all at the same time. For registration information go to: http://network.crcna.org/webinars

I’m excited about the potential opportunities available through webinars. Today webinars, tomorrow … maybe I’ll try a tweet. I’m not too old yet to learn new things.
