Age Level Characteristics of Kids

What do eight year olds like to talk about? How do preschoolers learn best? What can I do to encourage a middle schooler in my class? Kids think and act so much differently than adults that relating to them can be a challenge! The links below summarize intellectual, social, and spiritual characteristics of kids at various age levels, and offer tips for helping them grow in faith. The more you understand the kids in your group, the more you'll enjoy spending time with them and the better you'll get at planning a lesson that really connects!
