Another Great Resource!

The Usborne Complete Book of Art Ideas by Fiona Watt, Antonia Miller, Non Figg, Katrina Fearn and Amanda Barlow is a wonderful resource for churches. Each page in this full color book is packed with art ideas that can be used in working with children and teens in Sunday school. Instead of drawing all the time, the book includes ideas on the use of paint, chalk, salt, tissue paper, wire, etc.

We have painted with cardboard and q-tips as well as paint brushes. We have used the painting water ideas, made fish with crayon resist techniques and worked at making patterns. Many times I have turned to this book when I was stuck for an idea and it has been very helpful. I’m pleased to recommend it.

What resource have you found useful in your ministry?
