For the Love Of

Saturday, August 13, 7:30 p.m.

Join us at the Wealthy Street Theatre for a free screening of For the Love Of and a live show by Songs of Water! Show starts at 7:30 p.m. The film explores the journey of worship artists John Mark McMillan, Sarah McMillan, William Matthews, and Stephen Roach (from Songs of Water) to Paris for the 2015 Climate Change Talks (COP21) to learn about how climate change is impacting the world's most impoverished. This short film dives into what they learned as they engaged with activists, scientists, and people directly impacted by climate change. Songs of Water will perform, and there will be a Q&A following the film with several of the artists and filmmakers.
