Earlier this year, over 60 evangelical Christians converged on Washington D.C., including many CRC members, to march, learn and advocate for climate action. They met with 35 congressional offices across Capitol Hill with the same message: evangelicals are concerned about climate change and caring for creation.
Now it’s time to build on the momentum we’ve generated and to take the next step: sustained in-district advocacy. We can’t all travel to Washington, D.C. every month, but we can meet with our elected officials and their staff in their local district offices.
You can now listen to the recording of the free webinar: Acting in Faith: Taking the Next Step. The webinar was hosted by the CRC Office of Social Justice, Young Evangelicals for Climate Action, and Climate Caretakers. We discussed policy asks, discovered how to build respectful relationships with our local congressional offices, and learned how to build a sustained, local movement for climate action. If you want to learn how you can become a successful climate advocate in your district, this webinar is for you!
