Good Seed Sunday - Resources for churches

Comments (0)

Hello fellow Earthkeepers,

Greetings from Houston, B.C. I am excited to share news with you about Good Seed Sunday. I have been praying for national resources for churches for years and it is finally here!

Good Seed Sunday is a great opportunity to connect your church congregation with creation care! It takes VERY little effort but can potentially make a difference in how we as Christians think about and care for God's creation. Good Seed Sunday is a national initiative, delivered by A Rocha Canada, helping churches and Christian communities with ways to celebrate creation care on April 22nd. For more information:http://goodseedsunday.com/index.php

Through Good Seed Sunday, A Rocha is providing FREE resources to assist churches in caring for creation--Sunday school curriculum, Bible Study materials, sample sermons, devotionals, youth initiatives, community outreach strategies, living lighter ideas, and more. Just click on the link below to get your free resources and begin the journey of inspiring change at your church. Thanks for considering this opportunity for your church family! http://goodseedsunday.com/resources/free-resources/index.php

For those of you in northern B.C. please feel free to contact me with questions. I would be happy to brainstorm with you what your church could do and I am available throughout the year to come and speak at your church or do a workshop. For those of you outside of Northern B.C., we have representatives all across Canada now (very exciting) so if you are not aware of an A Rocha rep close to you please send me an email and I will find out who to contact in your area. I look forward to connecting with you.

And just to get you thinking about what you could do...our church will be putting up birdhouses that the Cadets built over the winter on fence posts along the community garden we started on our church property...I'd love to hear what your church will be doing...

P.S. Here is a video that answers the question "Why should you care for creation?"

Shalom,
