Who's Coming to Dinner?  ...and you shall always eat at My table.  2Sam 9:7b

In Ontario, we're planning our bi-annual Coffee Break Conference - for all women, not just Coffee Break members - its actually our Inspirational Women's Conference.  The theme of the day, will be reflecting on the story of Mephibosheth from 2 Sam. 9.  Here we read of the crippled grandson of King Saul, forgotten, yet invited to be seated at the table of King David.  We hope that all women will hear and receive the invitation to come and be seated at the table of the King.  In addition, we recognize that many of us are already seated, and we need to be encouraged to bring others to the table.

Bringing others to the table - that's the question I am pondering today.  How are we doing with that at Coffee Break?  Do we see Coffee Break as a dinner invitation for all to come and feast at the banquet of the Lord?  Who are you inviting to the table?

I'd welcome some conversation around that.  How are you, in your Coffee Break groups being creative to seek out those who need a place at the banquet? ?  Please share your stories - we can learn so much from the experiences of others!

I look forward to hearing your stories.
Blessings,
Marian

PS.  If you are close enough to join us in Ontario, please come to the Ontario Inspirational Women's Conference, Sat. April 30, 2011, 9:00am - 4:00pm.  You can access the brochure at www.crhmeasterncanada.org or simply register at www.eplyevents.com/coffeebreakconference.  We'll enjoy contemporary worship, great speakers and a fabulous lunch. Who

Who's coming to dinner?  You are!
