Congregational Stewardship = Team Work

"Encouraging stewardship is the task of all leaders in the church", according to Robert C. Heerspink in his book, Firstfruits:  A Stewardship Guide for Church Leaders. The enthusiastic, well-informed efforts of the leadership team (pastor, elders, deacons) will help members catch the stewardship vision of joyful, generous giving.

Looking for "food for thought"?  Currently, there is great reading about steward leadership on other areas of the CRC Network.  Check out "Budget Crunch, Money and the Holy Life" in the Elder forum and "Money and Ministries of Mercy" on the Deacon forum.
