This is the first time I've contributed online like this for anything...but here it goes...

I'd love to be part of an ongoing discussion regarding congregation relational health that includes but is not limited to pastor/staff church relationships.  There are significant challenges today in the area of church health--gotta find another term for this--that have as much or more to do with how we connect and partner with each other than with what we connect or disconnect about.  ie.  I wonder about our capacity to differ with one another yet maintain encouraging, grace filled relationship at the same time.  How can we help each other take personal responsibility for our own functioning rather than blaming the other or expecting them to change?  At the same time, isn't it wonderful how many times the church does function well and is truly a blessing.

This is a conversation not only for pastors and staff but for council members and all people who relate together as Christian community.  Maybe this is just me (I don't think so, though) but there seem to be more and more deeply hurt pastors (and family members) and churches, often facing off against each other, all the while trying to be salt and light.

Anyway, I could go on and on, but just wondering if anyone is interested in getting at some of this.....
