MyCRC

myCRC is a unique effort to capture stories, experiences, and perspectives on being CRC.

We invite you to answer the five questions below to share your chapter of our collective story. To add your voice to a chorus of voices expressing what it means to be Christian Reformed.

You may answer all of the questions, or just some of them. You may write a little, or you may write a lot. It's up to you. By sharing each of our perspectives, we hope to learn more about each other and about our collective identity as a denomination.

Question 2: What do you love about your local Christian Reformed church?

myCRC from Wendy de Jong:

Ah, so many things. I love the way we use and value all the creative arts in worship. I love that we put a lot of store in treating each other with respect and hanging on to each other. Question 4: Is being part of a denomination important? Why or why not?

myCRC from Wendy de Jong:

Yes. Along with so many things in our transient, cyber-spaced world, a denomination gives one roots, and a sense of belonging. It may be going against the grain of our society, but it's good for people to have a place to belong. See more answers and share yours

Question 5: What comes to mind when you hear the word “Reformed”?

myCRC from Karl Westerhof:

The sovereignty of God and the rule of Jesus Christ over every square inch of creation.  The attempt to live that out as thoroughly and as comprehensively as possible at the individual and corporate levels.   See more answers and share yours
