On February 8, The Network will officially turn 5 years old! Some of you have been with us since the very beginning while others of you are brand new. Either way, we are so glad you’ve joined us!

The Network is a valuable resource because of the people who are engaged in the community. When you post a blog, ask a question, or add a comment, it turns a static website into a place of conversation, connections, and community. Your participation makes The Network special. For this reason, we want to acknowledge YOU by offering snazzy badges for your profile! We hope you think of a badge not just as a gold star, but as a vote of confidence to readers that you are not only reading, but actively contributing to the community through your participation!

The two different badges, along with criteria, are:

1. Participant badge.

  • You have commented in the past 6 months
  • Your profile is complete with your name, church, photo, and sentence or two about yourself (so we can all get to know a bit about each other)

2. Community Builder badge.

  • Same criteria as above plus
  • You have written a post within the past 6 months. It can be a question, discussion topic, blog post, or other resource.

If you’ve met ALL of the above criteria for either a Participant or Community Builder, the badge will be visible on your profile. If you aren’t quite there yet, take those next steps to complete your profile, or add a comment, and earn that badge!

Still have questions on how to earn a badge? Post your question below or contact me at [email protected].

Can we see some images of what the badges look like and a list of the benefits conferred upon members with badges?

Happy birthday, NETWORK!

Your articles/postings will often inspire, educate and bring people together who are working together in their church, neighborhood and the world. Thank you!
