Today is a bittersweet day for The Network team as we say goodbye, and offer our sincere thanks, to Communications Specialist Kim Chimienti.

What you might not know is that Kim played an integral role in helping to get The Network off the ground. In fact, when she started working with the CRCNA in 2009, the website was still in its formative stages. She assisted the original group of Network Guides in posting their blogs and adding their resources so the site could be ready for launch on February 8, 2010 and served as their “coach” and trainer in the days that followed.

From the beginning, Kim’s enthusiasm and attention to detail helped The Network gain momentum. Kim kept busy recruiting bloggers, editing and posting content, organizing ministry topics, and monitoring site discussions.

In recent years, you may have had the opportunity to collaborate with Kim on a webinar. She initially was tasked with just doing the Spring schedule of events in 2012, until another Host was recruited - which never happened. To date, she’s assisted with producing over 90 webinars (both public and private available for viewing in the recording archives). Or maybe you served, or are serving, as a Network Guide and had a chance to work together closely, brainstorming ideas for blog posts. Or perhaps you are a church volunteer, thankful for the ‘behind the scenes’ help Kim provided to get your post published.

Kim’s diligent work has impacted all of us who are a part of The Network community. In fact, you’d be hard pressed to find someone who knows the ‘ins and outs’ of The Network as well as Kim.  After all, she was there at the beginning.

Thank you for your faithful service, Kim! We will miss you.

Thanks for being a mover and shaker in getting The Network going and for enabling webinairs.  A special thanks for your help in doing mine!  You will be missed!  All the best in your next adventure.

Thank you, Kim! I've attended several webinars, and you were always gracious--even in the midst of technical issues, you gave us the assurance that it would all be handled, and it always was! God bless you in your new adventure!
