I grew up in Oskaloosa, Iowa, attended Calvin College and Seminary, and served three congregations--in Lambertville, Michigan, Littleton, Colorado, and Grand Rapids, Michigan--before serving as Vice President for Administration and Professor of Preaching at Calvin Seminary.
