Worship Ministry Coordinator - Alberni Valley CRC


The Alberni Valley Christian Reformed Church has an exciting career opening for a Worship Ministry Coordinator.  We are situated in Port Alberni, on beautiful Vancouver Island in British Columbia.


We seek a talented individual with strong Christian character to help lead our church family in musical expression to the Lord.  This is a part-time position that can be developed into a full-time role if the right candidate has appropriate knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that fill the needs and calling of our church. 


The Worship Minister Coordinator will:

lead us in convergent style of worship, featuring music from contemporary artists to hymns that have been with the church for generations.

form new and support existing teams

work alongside a dynamic leadership team and gifted Lead Pastor to help our church grow and serve.

other tasks and administrative duties as required.


The successful candidate will:

be of strong Christian character

have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

be proficient vocally and instrumentally (guitar or keyboard preferred)

have experience with:  leading worship and praise bands, sound systems, multi-media devices and recruiting and working with volunteers (asset).



situated in the Alberni Valley, we have a plethora of hikes, trails, fishing, and gorgeous scenery as well as affordable housing and rental options.

relocation allowance is offered to those that aren’t already living in our amazing town.
