Noordeloos CRC in Holland, Michigan is seeking a part-time Youth and Young Adult Ministry Coordinator.  

Ministry Goals:

To provide knowledgeable, effective and engaging leadership in developing and coordinating ministries for youth that are consistent with Noordeloos CRC’s mission, vision and core commitments

To mentor and equip Noordeloos members who are involved in these youth ministries to share the Biblical vision of a faith directed lifestyle


Coordinating Youth Ministry (6th Grade through singles up to age 25)

Recruit, mentor, and support volunteer leaders for the various programs (Impact and Young People’s)

Attend and help lead 2 meetings per month for high school group (Young People) and 2 meetings per month for middle school group (Impact), September through May.

Work with volunteers to prepare a time of devotion / study, and some "fun" activity.  

Lead planning  for youth and impact events throughout the year.  Goals include 1 service trip in the summer, and 2 offsite events throughout the year

Organize youth service one Sunday during the year

With youth leaders, help organize fundraising Auction in the fall of each year

Create and manage budget for youth programs

Maintain casual but intentional contact with youth who have gone on to attend colleges or joined the workforce


Strong and growing relationship with Jesus Christ

Member in good standing in a church in the Reformed tradition

Excited to share the love of God with others, especially young people

Ability to make social connections with youth

Clean criminal background check

Agreement with creeds and confessions of CRC

Some college level classes related to ministry or education or related experience

Effective, dynamic, and motivational communication skills


Work 15-25 hours / week
