Areopagus Campus Ministry at Iowa State University is looking for a new campus minister/director as it seeks to continue its witness to Christ and the Kingdom in all facets of university life.
Recognizing the influential role of the university in our society—and the world—Areopagus seeks to reflect the ongoing power and significance of the Gospel and a Reformed Christian worldview to all facets of life for the students, faculty, and staff of Iowa State University. We believe that the university setting is uniquely positioned for:
- Providing space for non-Christians to explore the Christian faith;
- Discipling Christian students and faculty in what they believe, why they believe it, and what difference it makes;
- Equipping people for serving on mission in the church, community, and workplace
Areopagus is a ministry of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA), and seeks to bring a distinctly Reformed perspective to everything it does. We care deeply about the university and want to see it flourish. We care about creation and our community. And we care about connecting people to the local church and participating in that covenant community. We work with students from across the country and around the world, young and old, and in a context with infinite opportunities for outreach, service, and creative ministry efforts.
