How Do We Find a Pastor for Our Church/Congregation?

The CRCNA offers lists of potential pastors in a variety of places. Here is some helpful information:

  • Contact Pastor Church Resources to access PastorSearch, a new online process by which churches and pastors can find each other. This new arrangement will give search committees special access to a database of all active, ordained CRC pastors.
  • Look at the Candidates page on the Candidacy website for a list of candidates (both current candidates and those soon to be approved by synod). There is also a Prospective Candidates PDF book on the Candidates page with a brief description of each person. This material is a condensed version of what is found in PastorSearch, and it is open to the public.
  • Connect with the classis clerk in your region to get in touch with pastors who may help you with suggestions of how to use the informal relational network among current CRCNA pastors.
