Hello people!
After a year or more in the application and planning stage, our church has finally received the go-ahead to demolish our current building and build a new church to hold our growing membership. Our final service in the current space is set for September 10th. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for how to involve our kids in this service (which will be followed by the groundbreaking). Normally, it would be the first week of our new Sunday School season, but we'll delay that for one week. Part of me thinks the whole church should worship together for the whole of the final service (there is no kids program during the summer so they are used to this) and part of me thinks we could have some really meaningful remembrance and fun doing something like painting the walls in our old classrooms! Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Thanks,
