We're looking for ways to continue supporting our church families with faith formation resources that can be readily accessed and used at home while our church services are online-only. How is your church continuing it's children's ministry over the next few weeks?

Thank-you!

This is a good question--one I'm exploring now too.  A few thoughts (though underdeveloped) that I have right now...

-recording the lessons from Children and Worship and Sunday School and posting (along with any materials) to some platform (private Facebook groups?  Google Classrooms?)

-creating or finding daily family devotions or a family liturgy to follow during this time

-finding ways to help kids stay connected virtually to avoid loneliness and isolation--could be done via video posts or sharing photos on one of the platforms mentioned above.

Anxious to hear what other thoughts people have in regards to children!

Hi Melissa,

I'm the producer of Kids Corner, a ministry of Back to God Ministries and Reframe Media. We have some creative online resources available to share with kids and families that can assist in faith formation and give more resources to families.

At www.kidscorner.net, you and your kids will see three great programs to explore.

1. Liz and Friends Podcast. With 265 different story episodes available, kids can listen to the adventures of Liz and his friends in the town of Terrene. Each episode teaches bible truths wrapped in fun creative stories 25 minutes in length. Each episode has a devotion for families to discuss and a challenge that everyone can do.

2. Bible Stories Podcast is an immersive audio storytelling that retells the greatest stories of the Bible in an entirely new way! There are 30 stories to share each with a coloring page. You can download the scripts and perform your own bible play.

3. The Kids Corner activity page is loaded with ebooks, activity books, coloring pages, crafts, puzzles and songs. All free to download.
