It might seem foreign to some to have evaluations for pastors and ministry staff, but they’re important and necessary. Being able to have an honest conversation on a regular basis about how things are going (which is the purpose of an evaluation) is healthy for both councils and ministry leaders. However, ministry roles are in some ways unique and so the evaluation form from your HR department at work won’t do the trick.
