Youth Leader


Crossroads Ministries in Britt, Iowa is seeking a full-time Youth Leader. This position will focus on the spiritual development of our youth to live purposeful and effective lives for Christ. Together with the Lead Pastor this individual will cooperate and coordinate the functional expressions of gathering in, getting involved, and going to make disciples for Christ’s Kingdom in North Central Iowa. This will be a combined work of transformation in the ever changing context of rural ministry.

Job Description:

The Youth Leader’s job will involve the following:

*Giving leadership and coordination to the youth ministries of the church providing mechanisms for discipling every age towards a strong Reformed World and Life view.

*Empowering church members (especially new and younger members) to assimilate into the life of the church in varied ways, contribute to the church, and serve within their circles of influence to expand the influence of Jesus Christ further into the community of North Central Iowa.

*Working alongside the Lead Pastor in planning and executing the coordination of Functional Ministries (Council and members).

*Continuing to develop his or her personal relationship and walk with the Lord.

*Develop his or her areas of calling in other aspects of church ministry.

Qualifications: (Applicant does not have to meet all qualifications.)

*Outgoing personality with high energy

*Committed to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

*Self-starter and risk-taker

*Ability to coordinate and provide supervision

*Musical abilities

*Computer and Tech literate

*Ability to function within team structure and alone

*Passion for seeing people’s lives transformed by word and service

*Ability to motivate and train others

*Heart and passion to help disciple the next generation believer
