Lead Pastor at Immanuel CRC (Caledon, ON)

Are you feeling a nudge for a change in your ministry location? Are you open to ministering with a new congregation in a new community? Would you love the vibrancy of a very diverse and multicultural city in which to minister? Do you want to be part of a great ministry staff team? Then keep reading!

Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Caledon, ON (on the outskirts of Brampton and in close proximity to Toronto) is seeking a dynamic and biblically based lead pastor, with a heart for justice and a dedicated prayer life. We are looking forward to someone with strong team leadership ability, Reformed theology and motivation to challenge their members in the mission of transforming lives with the love of Jesus—not just within the church community, but also and especially in the new subdivisions growing around the church building.

As it has everywhere else, COVID-19 has impacted our congregation and some of our challenges include re-engaging our congregation for leadership, renewing times of fellowship and community, as well as encouraging discipleship and service, both in the church as well as in our new community. Our new pastor would work in partnership with staff and church leaders to engage in a post-COVID world, seeking the Spirit’s guidance for the transformation of lives - and we are excited to see what God has in store for us!

If you are interested in more information, see our church profile here or contact Richard Vanderkloet, Search Committee Chair at [email protected]

Please note that due to the high cost of housing in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), if needed, Immanuel is prepared to provide creative support to help facilitate a move to this area.
