Senior Pastor New Hope Community (Reformed) Church - Aurora, Colorado

New Hope Community Church is located in Aurora, Colorado, a diverse and growing suburb of Denver. The vision for our ministry is to equip all people to live by faith; to joyfully serve Jesus Christ with skill, integrity and vitality; to be known by our Love; and to be a voice of Hope in the community and the world. This vision is supported by New Hope’s mission, which is to: equip effectively, worship meaningfully, evangelize intentionally, grow spiritually, serve purposefully, love holistically and fellowship authentically.

Our church has a stable membership of approximately 150 and is in a strong financial position. The congregation is mature, actively involved in spreading the good news of Christ and is seeking to grow by better identifying and satisfying the needs of the community. We are blessed by our current senior pastor who has served our church well and will be retiring.

We seek a new senior pastor who will first and foremost be an individual that models integrity and will be an articulate advocate and communicator for the vision of God's church and for the glory of God. This person will be the primary leader and teacher, who will have a broad responsibility for the spiritual welfare, growth, and life of the church in all areas including discipleship, evangelism and equipping the congregation for service.

Preferred candidates will embody the essence of a servant leader and have the skills to shepherd an older church population while attracting new members with a balanced ministry that reflects an appreciation of people with diverse backgrounds and a variety of worship experiences. A minimum of five years of pastoral and teaching experience in a multi-staff church/para-church setting is required as well as a Masters level training or equivalent.
