An advantage to working in a large office or in a large company is that you are usually part of a team that has overlap in responsibilities or knowledge. This makes it easier to collaborate and to seek out advice and ideas. Unfortunately this isn't the case in most churches except for some mega churches, making it more difficult to get fresh new ideas, and sometimes difficult just to get it all done! Here are a couple of great resources if you're stuck.

More and more churches are using graphics on their website and slideshows for sermon series. If you have the responsibility of developing graphics for a series or standalone sermon, then Vintage Church will be useful to you. They offer many free downloads of the Photoshop files and fonts of many different series or holidays that your church could utilize. Additionally, they have forms, bulletin inserts, and more that are free and available to use. Check it out, but please ignore the cheesy snowflakes!

Tech Arts Network is a collection of podcasts, blog, and other resources focused on providing advice and information about all the technical aspects for a church. The producers are very knowledgeable and eager for your input. So if you are stuck on something or have a topic you'd like to cover, let them know!  And if you go to this site, make sure you check out the tagline in the header.

Hopefully both of these resources help to widen your pool of resources, especially in these months after the busy holidays when it might be dififcult to be creative.

Do you have any websites or forums that you regularly go to for ideas or support?
