“How time do fly,” my dad sometimes jokes. It’s been a year since I started as the guide for The Network’s Church & Web section, and I will be saying so long, until we meet again -- which I’m sure we will, right here in The Network.

When I started a year ago, I wrote a blog called “The Peaceable Kingdom - on the Web?!”  and since then we’ve mused together about ways that God’s Kingdom work can be accomplished with technology. I’ve enjoyed writing the blogs and articles and learning from you readers. I will continue to be an avid follower of this network, and The Network as a whole.

One way I’ll do that is by receiving my weekly “New Posts on the Network” email. If you haven’t signed up for that yet, you should do so immediately! Just click on “Subscribe” on the top right of this page.

I learn a lot from The Network, and enjoy keeping up and engaging with all the networks and forums, not just the ones related to technology. I often send links to others in my church when I see relevant information -- such as a link to my deacons about a new devotional for deacons, to my Church School leader about new resources available, to my worship leader, to the pastor, anyone I think might benefit or be interested. Hope you do that, too.

You may be wondering who will be our next Church & Web guide. He’s a good one! Jerod Clark will be taking over. Jerod heads up Church Juice, an awesome site from reFrame Media about church communications that I’ve been following for some time -- and recommend highly. I’ve referenced information from Jerod’s blog on Church Juice more than once, and Jerod recently conducted a webinar for The Network, “Why Give a Tweet?” I’m looking forward to following Jerod on The Network now, in addition to Church Juice.

So, it’s good bye for now, ‘til we meet again. God bless you, and see you in cyberspace.

What a great job you've done with this blog, Mavis! And I'm not just saying that because you're my sister. Thanks for your work in this forum.

Thank you, Mavis. Not only for your work as guide during the past year, but for your early and continued enthusiasm for The Network overall. I look forward to your continued participation!

Thanks for all your work on this site.  Our communtiy of faith took away many nuggets that are now being implemented within our technologies.  You have furthered the kingdom!

Thanks, Tim & Greg. It's great to hear that the blog has brought you some practical applications, and furthered the kingdom. Couldn't wish for more.
