Juan Sierra Joins Coffee Break Team

We welcome Juan Sierra as the new Coffee Break (CB) and Discover Your Bible (DYB) Program Manager. Juan learned from personal experience that people come to faith and together grow in Jesus using the methods of Coffee Break. Juan used Spanish Discover Your Bible studies in his Port St. Lucie church plant, Iglesia Sunlight Español. Small group members moved from expecting to be taught to discovering the Bible together through questions and conversations.  

Juan leads the CB/DYB program from his home in Vero Beach. Juan is married to Libna, who has also trained as a Coffee Break Workshop Leader. They have two sons, Jonathan and Benjamin. Juan has a BA in Education and English and a MA in Bible and Theology from Calvin Seminary. He is also a Commissioned Pastor with the CRC under Sunlight Community Church in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Juan still actively preaches at churches throughout his classis.

Some might be surprised to see a man taking leadership of CB/DYB. Juan’s appointment reflects the growth and changes taking place through Coffee Break (which is now in more than 26 countries, several languages, and being used by men and women around the world).
