Three important events will take place in January that illustrate the global and local impact of Coffee Break. Find more information below!
- Coffee Break Cafe (January 8, 2016) – West Michigan small group Bible study leaders will meet at Cascade Fellowship for shared learning, renewed outreach vision, inspiration, and fun! Follow Coffee Break Café to learn more or to sign up.
- Coffee Break Workshop Leader Training (January 14-16, 2016) – Twelve people from six countries will gather in Seoul, Korea for Coffee Break Workshop Leader Training. The leaders from Colombia, China, Japan, Kenya, Nepal and the Philippines will be trained to equip others on how to lead Coffee Break Bible discovery small groups and learn from each other!
- Korean Coffee Break Conference (January 18-20, 2016) – The Korean Coffee Break Conference will take place in Seoul, Korea. The Korean Conference team plans for about 250 leaders and 52 children to attend. This is the first year families have been invited to attend the bi-annual conference. They have been surprised and delighted that so many families are choosing to come together. The Korean Coffee Break Conference planning team has been praying and fasting. The planning team consists of directors from 13 Coffee Break Centers (see note in the footer below) and has been meeting for several months to plan and pray. They have also taken turns fasting for the event. Every day leading up to the conference, one leader has committed to pray and fast for the speakers, attendees and preparations. The Korean Conference will feature large group sessions, breakouts and small group Bible study. This year, the small groups will study Discover Nehemiah, a study first written by Rev. Edward Yoon and revised for English groups. We will be posting stories to let you know more about our Global Coffee Break partners throughout the training and conference.
