I am looking for an organization that is approved by the denomination that is for military personnel. Do you know of any?

Hi Daniel,

I'm wondering if you could provide additional information in what type of organization you're looking for weather its (veterans, active/reserve/guard, US or Canada, officer or enlisted) and your needs (military community, advocacy, resources, etc). There are a only a few CRCNA churches have small groups for military veterans (if you're looking to start one at your local church we'd be happy to help you.) We have retired military chaplains throughout North America that maybe a resource for you in your area.

The CRCNA does not have an specific organizations approved for military personal. Many of retired US military chaplains are members of MOAA (Military Officer's Association of America) which advocates for the rights of military services members. It is a national organization with local chapters that often dinners and learning events for officers (mostly retired but active service members also welcome). Military chaplains may join MCA (Military Chaplains Association) which provides networking, education and support for military chaplains. There are numerous organizations (VFW, Purple Heart, American Legion, etc) that specialized due which conflict or war a service member participated in and branch of service for enlisted and officers. One CRC Military Chaplai's  spouse put together a website of resources http://www.operationwearehere.com/. It's a wonderful resource along with Military One Source for US service members.
