Tent cities are being created across our country, filled with people in need. So many people in need; addiction issues, mental health, and the list goes on and on.

I have a question: What are we doing? We sit in our pews on Sunday morning and listen to the pastor. We hear the words that we are called to love our neighbour. I been in outreach in the Charlottetown CRC for years now, there has always been a challenge getting people involved. I suspect that is the case everywhere.

With so many people hurting, what are you doing? With tent city's being constructed across North America, what are you doing? With mental health being such a problem know, what are you doing? What am I doing?

I am planning our annual BBQ for people in need on August 27. If things don't change quickly, I will have to cancel because no one has donated anything.

Pray for better outreach programs in our churches. Lets keep listening to the pastor, but let's act on what he is speaking on, lets get out of our pews and spread the message of hope.
