The book our church council has used to record the signatures of council members affirming the Form of Subscription/Covenant for Officebearers also held the old handwritten council minutes, and we've now run out of space in the book to add new signatures. Since we now keep all minutes electronically, there is no obvious existing option for storing hard-copy signatures. How have other churches handled this? Do councils keep a specific physical volume just for such signatures?

Comments

We maintain a separate binder that goes back many years.  Even though our minutes are kept electronically, we still have that "special" binder just for those signatures.
