Who's going to join us for the Synod webcast? www.crcna.org/Synod

If I remember correctly, last year we got up to about 100 simultaneous viewers during various parts of the deliberations. This year, I'm expecting that will go up.

For the first time, you can watch the webcast right from the CRC Facebook page (you can "Like" the page to be alerted when the webcast begins). Not only is that more convenient for those of you who are regularly on Facebook, it also makes it easy for folks to spread the word to their friends when discussions get interesting (ahem ... synod discussions are ALWAYS interesting, of course, but some are more interesting than others :-)

Like last year, you'll also have the ability to live chat with others across the denomination. If you have other suggestions for the webcast or for CRC Communications' coverage in general, add them here.

I don't know about you, but sitting through my first synod a few years ago gave me a new appreciation for the complexities of the discussion, and the ways God is at work in our churches and ministries. We offer this webcast so everyone can participate. I hope you'll join us.

Tim, are there recordings of past events at Synod, or just the livecasts?

My brother led devotions this morning. I was hoping to see it but didn't catch it live.

Mavis

yeah not so accessible as past years.  Tried a few of the webcast links (not facebook but the other links) and the web site just shuts down when you press play.  :(

Colin - Maybe try a different browser. We've got about 125+ people online now so it seems like an issue with your local system. You could also try the channel page here.

Mavis - Sorry for the delayed response - it's been really busy. All the archives are online now. Let me know if you have any questions.
