If you're looking for some useful information, suggestions, and tools for conducting a more effective benevolence ministry, you need look no further. Guidelines for Benevolence is more than a handbook, it is a guide for developing a benevolence ministry that is more than providing relief or emergency assistance.  The benevolence guidelines in this document are more focused on transforming lives and building more fulfilling and meaningful relationships in ways that more closely reflect and advance God's reign. It also provides some useful suggestions and guidelines for getting church staff and others that might deal with benevolence in some way on the "same page."

(While I have seen and distributed an almost identical guide in the past entitled, Tools for Benevolence, I found this particular version--which I prefer--on the website of Diaconal Ministries Canada.)
