From turkeys to toys, it’s the time of year when many churches encourage their members to consider those less fortunate.

In this webinar we explore ways to alleviate poverty while helping, rather than unknowingly harming, people who live in poverty. You’ll discover practical strategies to partner with your local and global community in overcoming poverty and injustice.

Good post and video.  The "science" of helping needs to be taught.  It's a relatively new science and is somewhat counter-intuitive to people's instincts for how they can best help.
