Good stewardship is about more than just money. Have you ever thought about stewardship of the Great Outdoors? How can hunting, fishing and gardening be acts of stewardship, benevolence and justice?

Hunting and fishing are traditions in many of our rural communities, but according to The Reverend Christian Baron, these are also sacred activities. In this webinar the co-founder of the Order of St. Naucratius will discuss the vision behind and the impact of the order and a creative way to support local anglers and hunters to share portions of their harvests with those who are hungry through local programs and churches.

The second part of this webinar will focus on gardening, an effective way for churches to demonstrate good stewardship of the land, reach out into the neighborhood and contribute to local food security. Karla Winham, Stewardship Pilot Project Coordinator for Diaconal Ministries Canada, will share her research about the benefits of community gardens and considerations for churches who would like to start their own.

On THURSDAY, DEC. 17 at 7:30 PM (Eastern) join a  webinar with World Renew staff Jodi Koeman, Church with Community Coordinator and Kris Van Engen, Justice Mobilizer along with special guests Christian Baron and Karla Winham as we explore stewardship of God's gifts of the outdoors.
