The call that the CRCNA has on the office of Deacon is a profound one. In fact, the mandate that is in the Church Order makes no mention of what deacons have traditionally been involved with. The mandate calls for deacons to mobilize their churches in ways that makes their churches relevant expressions of Christ's mercy and justice in a hurting world. This newsletter provides a reflection to the hope expressed in the mandate, along with examples of churches working on living into this vision, as well as links to tools already on other places on the Network.
