Disability Concerns strongly recommends that churches make an intentional commitment to include people with disabilities in church life by adopting a policy on disability and making this commitment well known within the congregation. The brief sample policy attached can be adapted as needed by churches desiring to establish an official policy on disabilities. The lengthier example attached was assembled by CRC Classis Hamilton as a tool for churches in Ontario to use as part of their compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
