Church Disability Advocates (CAs) seek to promote the full inclusion of persons with disabilities in the life of the local congregation so that everybody belongs and everybody serves. They can make significant progress in this work if church leadership supports them, but little progress if leadership does not support them. In this presentation, two disability advocates who have served in a variety of church leadership positions themselves convey their insights on working effectively with the church leadership team. This presentation was part of the Christian Reformed and Reformed Church in America Disability Concerns Leadership Conference held August 8 and 9, 2014.
