I'm curious about what other churches do for summer programming. This is the first year we are having Sunday school all through the summer. We have trios of teachers who take turns leading, but it still seems like a summer break would be nice. I don’t want to burn them out!

So what has worked for your church? If you go year-round, do you ever set aside the lesson plans and do something different during Sunday school? Maybe a service project or another special activity? Please post your ideas. Thanks!
