There are some people who ridicule things, saying that churches exist but Christians are invisible. Those who have been taught by Jesus should have disciples, but most of them are infertile Christians who cannot have disciples. This means that Christians have lost their sense of belonging and are lethargic about the world. The church and its members, who are supposed to present directions to the world and lead the way, are drifting with lost direction.

We are now experiencing the Christian history of postmodernism, which is heading toward the end of mankind, and we are experiencing the signs of the end day by day. Spiritually speaking, it is time for Christians to exert their strongest influence on the world. Hence, Christians should be able to clarify the attitude of the prophet leading the times and reflect on their mission to shine and prove the world.

A minister called for the world

Given the recent image of Christianity, I think the ministry within the fence of the church is worthy of evaluation. However, considering the ministry and interest beyond the church's fence, one cannot erase the idea that much is lacking. In other words, there is nothing more to put forward than ministry in the church than ministry outside of its fence. We cannot help but ask ourselves what was their interest in the world compared to the fact that they were well trained with the Words and achieved hot Koinonia in the church.

Christians should remember that they are transformers called by the Lord so that they can change the world. If they only serve as believers within the fence of the church, it is not the way keeping with the intention of the Lord to call them. If Jesus came to this land, had only been associated with a dozen disciples and then disappeared suddenly, what would He have to do with mankind? But Jesus means a lot because He sacrificed up to the last drop of blood to save each of us. In other words, if you look at the lessons left by the Lord, you can find the subject and reason of Christian ministry here, as you have served the world.

To this end, we must never indulge in the superstition of the fashion of the world. The world is now mired in a flood of superstitions caused by the development of material civilization and high-tech information. Numerous values armed with academics, ideas, and ideologies are controlling people by brainwashing their souls.

So what does it mean to serve the world in this reality? In short, Christians should not follow the superstition of the world's fashion. It means that we should find a narrow, difficult, and suffering way to go, not to have lingering feelings on the wide, convenient, and easy path of the world.

As Paul says in 2 Timothy 1:8, "Do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord... but join with me in suffering for the gospel by the power of God."

In other words, we should proudly reveal our identities and achieve a witness life while being persecuted by the world for the sake of the kingdom and the gospel of the Lord.

The key to the mission is to love the world

Jesus' teachings of the Jews in the first century was truly shocking. Their interest at the time was in the emergence of the Messiah, destroying the Roman Empire that oppressed them and building their own kingdom. The 'righteousness' that Jews believed in was nothing more than an effort to maintain their traditions and customs. In response, God came to give a meaningful lesson: "You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God." This fact was simply a shock to those who lived with greater pride in believing in God than those of any other nation.

Then what was the key message that the Lord tried to teach them? This is illustrated in detail by the core value of His teachings in the Sermon on the Mount. They used to live in the midst of teaching to love their neighbors and hate their enemies, but now He taught them to "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." This is not to antagonize the world, but to build a relationship to save them by loving the world, which suggests a clear direction of ministry for Christians to move toward the world.

Each Christian must be able to remember that he is called from the world through the grace of God and the love of his neighbor. If someone had neglected this mission, I think some of the people who believed would still be bound to the world. Jews have enjoyed the most of the Lord's grace, but do not fully understand His teachings, which is a great obstacle to the history of the gospel. Those who believe in Jesus should be able to take the lead in saving the world by loving themselves and even the world where they are enemies. In other words, Christian ministry should reach not only those who are related to it but also those who have been harmful in their lives.

A ministry to endure and persevere

It is never easy to love and serve the world. This is the reason why many ministers can't bear the heavy burden of the ministry. Hence, Christians must be able to endure with utmost patience. The ministry of Christians cannot be different depending on their circumstances, position in the church, or personal ability. In other words, those who are called by God should do their best in the ministry with an attitude and mission that transcends all the conditions given to them, such as Apostle Paul.

The Lord gives word of confidence in this through 1 Corinthians 1:8. "He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ." Not to say, it is an assurance that the Lord will make us steadfast to the end to make us those who have nothing to reproach on the day when He comes again. Remember that the Lord gives strength and wisdom in the journey of the ministry, and also comforts and helps in times of trouble. We should receive it as Lord's admonition that we should not do it by our own power or will but by His ability.

The ministry that the Lord entrusted to Christians is truly vast and amazing. This is especially true when we consider the fate of mankind, which is facing a turbulent period of history due to the plague today. We can see a world that is more repugnant to the gospel than when the Lord was on earth.

In the near future, we will also experience the reality that the dark forces which oppose the Word of God and reject the gospel squarely will follow from all sides. For that reason, Christian efforts to bear with the world are urgently needed. We must be able to remember that our fight is against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. This is because the Christian ministry that will save the world must be completed through each individual's courage, dedication, and patience.
