Groundwork: Biblical Foundations for Life

If you’re anything like me, you’ve never actually read the book of Habakkuk. You’ve probably even paused at Habakkuk when reciting the books of the Bible, trying to determine if the pronunciation is HAB-uhk-KUCK or Ha-BACK-kuck (turns out they’re both correct). If you’re like me, it’s a good bet you’re not very familiar with what the prophet, Habakkuk, said in his book even if you have read it. Well, here’s your chance to shore up the hole in your understanding of this Old Testament book. Here’s an opportunity to find out that Habakkuk answers some of your deepest questions about God and the Bible. In his writing, Habakkuk asked the very same questions we ask today: “God, are you listening?” “Why don’t you answer me?” “Why don’t you do something about this problem?” “How could you let that happen?” Join Groundwork hosts Dave Bast and Scott Hoezee for a fascinating series on the book of Habakkuk.

Groundwork is a half hour radio and podcast Bible-teaching program that plumbs the substantive questions of the Bible, seeking a practical understanding of God’s Word in today’s culture.

The new Groundwork website features a new Series page, bringing all the episodes of a series onto one page for easy reference. Also, check out the transcripts function for a helpful follow along.

The Habakkuk series consists of five episodes. Check it out.

Groundwork is produced by ReFrame Media in partnership with Words of Hope. Be sure to subscribe to weekly email updates from Groundwork at the website, and follow us on Facebook.
