I want to get a new Bible for Christmas and am overwhelmed by all the options. I like to take notes but am not sure I want a journaling Bible. Which Bible do you use? Any recommendations?

A couple years ago I was looking for a new Bible and, like you, wanted something with room for notes.  I got 'single column' Bible, which is a little different look and has quite a bit of space for notes, especially in the parts where there is poetry.  Some of them even have intentionally wider spaces designed for notes.

I use the Quest Bible for my bible study. I was given this by my family just before I went on a mission trip to Colima Mexico.

For me the Quest Bible really helps me study as it assists with meaning of Scripture passages. Helps answer passages that I don't understand with theological and historical incite. There are over 300 articles written by theological scholars, dictionaries, maps and bible indexes.
