Spending time in the Word is a daily struggle for me. I know the power that quiet time with God has to give me peace and restore my joy. And yet so often I choose the cheap thrills of busy work and distraction. 

In order to encourage each other, I thought we could share something God has shown us through His Word recently. What is a Bible verse or story that has been meaningful to you this fall?

Figured I could start :) One thing that God has been showing me recently is how his power is not hindered by my weakness. God uses us me in spite of myself, much like he used Jonah (a story I recently read again).

Two of them: Isa 30:15 "In quietness and confidence shall be your strength."

Lam 3:26   " It is good to wait quietly for the salvation from the Lord."

 The book of Lamentations, especially Lamentations 3:19-33 which is my preferred text.  It is the text that speaks the most to my experience with schizophrenia.
