I know I've asked this question before, but as a podcast-nerd I can't help but ask it again: What faith-forming podcasts are you currently listening to?

Comments

Not to toot our own horns but we're pretty big fans of Do Justice!  https://anchor.fm/do-justice

I listen to a lot of podcasts! Some that I'd say are faith forming are:

- On Being - One of the best podcasts ever, I think. Their website says, "What does it mean to be human? How do we want to live? And who will we be to each other? Each week a new discovery about the immensity of our lives." The host, Krista Tippett, will be speaking at the Festival of Faith & Writing this year!

- Jane & Jesus - Karen Swallow Prior interviews a different person each episode to talk about a character in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. At the beginning of each show, KSP says, "...where my guests and I talk about all things Jane Austen and I talk a little about Jesus."

- Everything Happens - Kate Bowler, author of Everything Happens For a Reason And Other Lies I've Loved plus other books, was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer at 35 and writes and talks about it. She has "warm, insightful, often funny conversations...with people about what they've learned in dark times." Kate is funny and caring and you'll love her.

- Mockingcast - Three hosts talk about "where they currently see grace and its absence playing out in unexpected ways." I always learn something and always laugh, sometimes cry. Often they're discussing articles or writings that I have also read.

I could go on and on, but these are a few faves.

Highly recommend Lisa Harper's Back Porch Theology- I have listened to every episode this season 2 or 3 times to dwell in the wonderful insights shared.

Spending 12-14 hours a week on the road I end up listening to lots!

Here are two of my favorites: The Carey Nieuwhof Leadership Podcast (New podcast every week,  usually 90 minutes or more.  A bridge between business and church in terms of leadership.      Also,  Lisa Harper and "Backporch Theology". So much truth that wakes up the heart through laughter and tears.

I know I'm late to this conversation but I just now starting clicking around on this site and found this question.  For the past year or so I've been listening regularly to John Mark Comer's teachings podcast (Practicing the Way); he's an "acquired taste", pastor in Portland, Oregon, and passionate about encouraging people to become apprentices to Jesus and engage in spiritual practices (disciplines) regularly -- alone and in community.  Great stuff.

Also, have recently been listening to "Truth over Tribe" from two co-pastors of a church in the midwest USA. Really thought provoking conversations. As they say in their "bio" - This podcast is too liberal for conservatives and too conservative for liberals. We seek to follow the lamb, not the donkey or the elephant.

Thanks for asking! I've appreciated the other's comments and recommendations.
