Use Devotional Instead of Sunday School Materials as Weekly Study Guide?

Rather than buying Sunday School material this fall, I would like to purchase a bulk order of a devotion book to give to each family in our church. Wondering if others have done this? Any recommendations? The thought behind it is that every family would be studying the same thing through the week. We could somehow tie it in to our weekly message to family prior to our live stream. Just an idea and hoping someone else has done it so I'm no reinventing the wheel so to speak.
